(I’m in Cornwall with dodgy wifi so I won’t speak out loud but if there’s time for my question, thank you!) Could you say more about the digitial panopticon? You said this isn’t how people were experiencing it…Might that be the success of it? That it is maybe not ’visible’ but perhaps still functioning as an ‘unverifiable’ form of power? Thank you!

Re Worplace Surveillance I interviewed some delivery drivers some years back who wanted GPS systems put in their vans because they wanted to demonstrate to their bosses the real hours they were putting in, also I spoke to call centre workers who saw the recording of all their calls as a means of insurance and security in the case of disputes with the customers
